I started dancing at 2 years old with Tap and Ballet and by 6 years old Ballroom and Latin American at the famous Redmond’s School of Dance Crosby, with Ms Margaret Redmond and Freestyle at Millie’s ( Millington’s Dance School) Bootle with Ms Iris Mayers, were I danced and competed till I was 18.
After a few years working as a nurse I returned to dance and studied Ballroom and Latin American with the acclaimed Mr Eric Lashbrooke (former World Ballroom and Latin American Champion) Classical Sequence with Mr David Bullen and Salsa with Mr Phil Kaila (former World Salsa Dance champion) qualifying as a dance teacher in 1989 with the Allied Dance Association.

Work nearly the last 30 years work has included teaching and choreographing in schools, gyms, and colleges, including Lancaster University and Rossell School, as well as individual tuition both freelance and as part of both the “JLC Dance Ltd” team ” , TV work and a spell as a performance artist in the Tate, and over the years coaching couples from France, Germany and China for competition work.
I am deaf having lost my hearing as a young adult and these days I wears two BAHA’s to help me hear, I am also a very good lip reader, if you have any disability I will be there to help just ask.
